4. Steve Kerr (GSW) – 77 Playoff Wins

With five championships as a player and three as a coach, Steve Kerr has proven time and time again that he knows a thing or two about winning. I remember when he was picked to be the new coach of Golden State back in 2014, he was being criticized for his inexperience.

However, after three championships in five years, this particular criticism didn’t age well. Considering he is still in the midst of his coaching career, Kerr might still bag some wins along the way.

Kerr is definitively the most successful head coach of the past decade. He notched five straight Finals appearances, winning three of them.  He also led the Warriors to the best regular-season record of all-time in 2016.

Kerr also won the Coach of the Year award in the same year. All of those happened in the span of six seasons. That’s not bad for a coach that has “no experience” in coaching.

Well, what can we expect from someone who was coached by two of the game’s elite coaches in Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich?
