Seven-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton shows off sneaker taste in new Dior collaboration.
Fashion icon (and F1 champ) Lewis Hamilton is the new ambassador for the Dion brand.
Currently driving for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, Hamilton is diversifying his influence in the sneaker space. Hamilton has reportedly collaborated with Dior creative director Kim Jones in designing two sneaker models. These shoes are aligned with the brand’s men’s fashion line.
The tentative launch date for the Hamilton-Dior collection is set for October 17.
The collaboration will feature “vibrant colors” and inspiration from Hamilton’s African roots. The co-designed shoes are intended for the winter line. The collection will also include skiwear, protective gear, custom snowboards, and bags.
As for Hamilton, he is steadily expanding his fashion portfolio. He just launched the “Home Turf” collection on his +44 brand. Moreover, he has ongoing endorsements under PUMA, IWC, and Tommy Hilfiger.
The 39-year-old British race car driver is coming off an astounding British Grand Prix victory. He will take his talents to the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team in 2025. More endorsements will surely come his way when he dons the iconic red-and-white Ferrari threads.
