CUSHION and SUPPORT
Just like its past two predecessors, the Nike Kyrie 7 is infused with Zoom Turbo cushion, which covers the whole forefoot along with phylon materials in the midsoles. It is then built with a responsive foam along the midsole areas without compromising the court feel, which is highly-preferred by a lot of players.
The Nike Kyrie 7 is lighter than the Nike Kyrie 6 and much closer to the Kyrie 5 in terms of overall performance. While the pair offers a low, great court feel, some break-ins must be done to achieve the certain level of comfort the players prefer.
The pair will also boast four flaps made in TPU in the forefoot area. These flaps reinforce the lacing system of the pair for better tightness and hug. Players will just hope that these flaps are durable enough since it will ruin the pair’s tightness and aesthetics if they will be easily detached from the pair.
