It is very hard to find a sneaker enthusiast that doesn’t know Virgil Abloh. The American designer is the man behind countless Off-White designs and collaborations with big sneaker industries. Some of his famous masterpieces are the Air Jordan 1 High OG x Off-White , Air Jordan 5 x Off-White, a couple of SB Dunk Lows, and many more.
With his quick rise to the sneaker empire, Abloh became one of the sought-after designers and collaborators in the sneaker world. After producing box office hit collaborations with Nike and Jordan, Virgil is now rumored to release a bunch of Nike SB Dunk Lows known as “The 50” Collection.
While there is no official announcement yet, and no official images have surfaced yet in the web, it is very likely that this will happen. The pairs will come in various colorways, and the signature zip tie, lacing systems, and Off-White text on the medial side are expected to make an appearance.
The Off-White x Nike SB Dunk Low, or “The 50” collection is expected to release in Fall of 2021. The retail price will go for about US$180 each at selected Nike Stores.
However, we can assume that the price will immediately balloon by several hundreds of dollars in the resale knowing that this collection is a Nike and Off-White collaboration.
