Nike recently released a couple of Gundam-inspired silhouettes of the Nike SB Dunk High: the Project Unicorn- RX-0 and Project Unicorn-Banshee Norn.

The famous mecha anime was created by the iconic Japanese anime director and animator Yoshiyuki Tomino in 1979. Since then, the unique and futuristic concept of the anime gained a wide range of audience, making it a worldwide sensation.

Dribble Media Kicks (DM Kicks) recently had the golden opportunity to participate in an exhibit held by Limited Edt Singapore. The innovative and futuristic exhibit highlighted the two colorways of the recently-released Nike SB Dunk X Gundam collaboration, along with other Gundam-inspired skating accessories and action figures.

The global popularity of the Gundam franchise even resulted in various series such as The Origin, Wing, Seed Destiny, and Unicorn to name a few.

Four decades since its creation, the mecha anime has yet to diminish in terms of its popularity, and there are no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Besides, its timeless reputation even resulted in a sneaker concept.

The famous sports brand Nike has announced the release of the Gundam Unicorn-inspired SB Dunk High. In fact, the silhouettes were already released in Singapore a couple of months ago, but are expected to be released globally in November.

The SB Dunk High X Gundam will be up for grabs for US$110. Pairs will be available via SNKRS.
