Former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade gives sneakerheads a sneak peek into the new Kobe-Inspired Way of Wade’s colorway.

As a tribute to Wade’s on-court rival and off-court close friend Kobe Bryant, Li-Ning will be releasing a Way of Wade’s colorway in honor to the late great Los Angeles Lakers legend. Wade himself provided an exclusive sneak peak into the Kobe-inspired shoes, as per the official Twitter account of ESPN.

This new re-fashioning of the Way of Wade’s comes in three sets of color schemes, and all of them feature the Lakers’ signature jersey hues of yellow, purple and white. Kobe’s numbers of 8 and 24 are also seen on the tongue tab.

Wade is famous in the sneaker world for blazing his own trail when he left Jordan Brand in 2012 to sign with a virtually unknown Chinese shoe company, Li-Ning. The three-time NBA champion then signed a lifetime contract with the shoe brand in 2018.
