The Jordan Brand first released the Jordan 6 Rings in 2008 as a tribute to Michael Jordan’s 6 NBA titles. The pair is a hybrid of all the shoes worn by His Airness when he won each championship. The Motorsports colorway, specifically, is a nod to Jordan’s own motorsports team which he established in 2004.
The Jordan 6 Rings “Motorsports” will be featured in black and white color scheme. The uppers will receive a white mesh base with leather overlays atop black glossy midsoles and rubber outsoles with a touch of gold in the midfoot area.
The uppers also have perforations which are intended for better ventilation. The sock liner is dressed with elephant print along with Velcro strap system and black laces. The design is then finished with the Air Jordan logo on the left tongue and the iconic number 23 on the right along with a Jumpman logo on the heel area.
No specific date of release has been announced, but the pair will be available sometime in 2021 with a price tag of US$170 at selected Nike stores.
