Sixers point guard Tyrese Maxey is the face of the upcoming New Balance Hesi Low v2.

Maxey, a rising star in the NBA, wore the v2 ahead of its August 2 launch. Here’s a sneak peek, along with its two initial colorways.

The two colorways go by the title, “Wheel and Deal”. The first colorway flaunts a color scheme of black, red, and white. In turn, the other colorway features vibrant “Pixel Green” and “Neo Flame” colors.

Maxey says that the Hesi Low v2 is “built for quickness” on the court. It represents the young star’s agility and speed in playing.

As for the v2’s specifications, here’s what we know so far:

  • FuelCell cushioning foam
  • Low-cut style
  • Knit base for improved breathability
  • Lightweight synthetic materials

Maxey, 23, signed with New Balance in 2023. It was an excellent signing for New Balance, as Maxey has been taking his game to greater heights. During the 2023-24 NBA season, he notched an All-Star appearance and won the Most Improved Player of the Year award.

Maxey joins a growing list of New Balance basketball endorsers. Since Kawhi Leonard’s first signature shoe, New Balance has been adding more NBA and WNBA players to the fold. This exclusive list includes Jamal Murray, Zach LaVine, Dejounte Murray, Darius Garland, and Cameron Brink.
