Stephen Curry

Thirty-four 20-point quarters

With his elite performance this season, there’s no reason anymore for people to doubt how exceptional of a player Curry is. Many people thought that Curry became so great at what he does because he played alongside two great shooters in Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant.

Well, Curry is without Klay and KD’s services and he is still in the running to lead the league in points per game this season. Curry can beat you from anywhere on offense, evidenced by that perfect 25-point third quarter he recently put up against the Thunder.

Curry’s 34 20-point quarters rank second in the NBA’s all-time list.

Kobe Bryant

Thirty-six 20-point quarters

It seems like Kobe has his name etched in every NBA all-time list in terms of scoring. We recently wrote a list of the players with most game-winning buzzer-beaters, in which the late great Kobe Bryant ranks second.

Kobe also has produced 36 20-point quarters in his career, which is the highest in league history. Interestingly, his last 20-point quarter was the one he put up in his final NBA game against the Utah Jazz, where he also tallied 60 points.
