Behind another masterful defensive performance the whole contest, the Elasto Painters came up with their second straight win in the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup. Rey Nambatac tallied a team-high 19 markers, while Beau Belga, Javee Mocon and Gabe Norwood chipped in 14 points apiece.
After producing a double-digit at the end of the first half of play, it looked like Rain or Shine was going to cruise to the victory. But the young resilient TerraFirma squad got into their groove on offense in the third quarter. With CJ Perez leading the way, TerraFirma even grabbed the lead in that period.

But the Elasto Painters regained their composure, and snatched back the advantage. A Nambatac triple at the top of the key stopped the Dyip’s 10-0 run in the fourth quarter, and a Norwood steal and lay-in sealed the win for the team.
Perez led the charge for TerraFirma with his game-high 26 points, to go along with 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks. Juami Tiongson contributed 15 markers in a starting role, while Glennn Khobuntin came off the bench to finish with 12 points and 5 boards.
