The Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack is collecting tons of hype badges since its first release (albeit limited) in February 2024. Is it worth another look when it goes on a wider release this April?
After a limited launch during Travis Scott’s 2024 Grammy Awards performance, the Jumpman Jack is set for wider release on April 30, 2024. This is Scott’s first-ever signature shoe under Jordan Brand, and it’s already gaining much traction in the reselling market.
HEAT or BRICK?
Heat, definitely. You have seen La Flame’s famous Jordan collabs, right? We’ve witnessed successful Scott collabs like the Air Jordan 4 “Cactus Jack”, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha”, and the Air Jordan 1 Low “Fragment”, to name a few.
Jordan Brand advertises the Jumpman Jack as “designed to the exact specifications and signature style” of the American rapper and songwriter. The earthy tones (Sail/Muslin/Dark Mocha), the Cactus Jack branding on the heel, and the overall sophisticated design speak to Scott’s shoe personality.
In addition, the “Sail” colorway is not the only version of the Jumpman Jack coming our way. There’s the rumored “Brown/Black” colorway, and who knows about the other iterations that Scott and Jordan Brand have in store for us?
Will it hit the sneaker reselling market?
For sure!
The Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack will be re-launched in April 2024 for a retail price of US$200, but that will skyrocket to up to 6x its original value once it hits the reselling market.
In fact, reselling of its previous February 2024 release has already gained traction. The Jordan Jumpman Jack TR “Sail” is currently listed at US$2,709 in the GOAT app. Expect that value to increase once more in the next few weeks.
