Nike does something great again as it pays tribute to basketball’s two equally reputable East Coast and West Coast Tournaments: the Drew League and the NY vs NY. This new Nike Air Force 1 will feature its original silhouette but will opt for two distinct approaches in terms of details to uniquely represent each tournament.
The triple white Los Angeles shoe Nike Air Force 1 “Drew League” takes the familiar white base with an embroidered “Drew League” right along the lateral heel area. This text is drawn along the insoles and the tongue tab, while the rest of the appearance is the same with the original white Air Force 1.
The Nike Air Force 1 “NY vs NY” nods to the widely-known basketball competition among the men and women across NYC territory. The swoosh, tread, and adjacent branding are coated in black with an imprinted NY vs NY right along the lateral heel area. The shoe’s tongue is also embroidered with six different patches.
Nike Air Force 1 “Drew League” and Nike Air Force 1 “NY vs NY” are set to release on July 17 at selected Nike Stores with the retail price of US$110.
Here are more detailed angles of the two newest colorways of Nike Air Force 1.
