Together with the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Orange County”, the “3D Lakers” colorway will also commemorate the 10th year anniversary of its release. While Kobe 6 Protro was originally dropped in 2010, this special colorway was released the year after. The pair nods to the Lakers’ 2010 successful championship campaign when the late great Kobe Bryant won his 5th title.
Dressed in white, del sol, and club purple, this colorway of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro is expected to have the same appearance as what was released in 2011. The pair will feature 3D patterns uppers in grey along with the Lakers’ signature purple and gold accents.
The tongue tab will come in white with Bryant’s logo in it along with yellow accents and paired with yellow laces. The pair is then finished with a purple Swoosh logo atop white midsoles, and a purple TPU unit heel counter.
The re-release of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “3D Lakers” is set in Fall of 2021. Pairs will be available at selected Nike stores for a price tag of US$180.
