The Nike LeBron 18 was first teased by James in the beginning of the Orlando bubble. Prior to the Game 1 match-up between the Lakers and the Denver Nuggets, Nike officially announced the release of the four-time MVP’s 18th signature pair. The inaugural roster will feature four different colorways: Los Angeles by Day, James Gang, Empire Jade, and Reflections.
Nike LeBron signature shoe line’s head designer Jason Petrie combined the Max Air and Zoom Air technologies to this new masterpiece. While older models such as the Nike LeBron 7 and the Nike LeBron 15 focused in speed and power, the Nike LeBron 18’s strength is its cushioning system for better response and bounce. This is to provide more support to the three-time champion as he is now on his 17th season in the league.
The four colorways of the Nike LeBron 18 are set to release on September 21 with a follow-up release of other colorways on October and November. LeBron’s newest signature pair will have a price range of US$200 to US$225 and will be available at selected Nike stores.
A performance review of the Nike LeBron 18 will soon be available at Dribble Media, so stay tuned. Here are some detailed angles of James’ newest signature pair, the Nike LeBron 18.
