The Sixers big man signed a 5-year deal with Kevin Plank’s Under Armour in 2018, making him the center with the highest-paid shoe contract in the NBA. The Cameroonian star also officially debuted his first signature pair against the Orlando Magic during their recent game.

The UA Embiid One silhouette is built with a full ventilated mesh upper for breathable experience and comfort, supported by a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) wing mold attached at the forefoot for better grip and lock. The midsole is engineered with Under Armour’s famous technology, the Micro G foam, which is loaded towards the rear, and in tinier built on the medial side through the ankle. The heel portion is then made of HOVR technology.

The 26-year old center’s signature logo will be pressed on front of the tongue tab, while the colorway’s logo is printed in the heel area. The first colorway is also coated in black uppers, and lava-like touches across the TPU wing support.

The UA Embiid One “Origin” is set to be released in North America on September 18, followed by a general release on October 2. The pair is expected to be available at selected Under Armour stores, but the official price is yet to be announced, so stay tuned.
