SIZE and FITTING

The Adidas D Rose 11 has stitching points in the inside but there are no heel notches so the pair is basically flat, and has volume like the Dame 7. It is highly recommended to go half a size down for better fit and use the topmost eyelets and top lace loops to reach the peak of the pair’s tightness.

OVERALL PERFORMANCE

Adidas made a good decision in bringing back the old materials of the D Rose line, most especially the traction of the 7s. The brand also redeemed itself by improving lackluster materials from the previous signature pairs and gave the former MVP the best shoe performance that he would have had before.

Despite Rose’s redemption seasons with Minnesota and Detroit, Adidas has been a bit quiet with their previous releases of the 9s and the 10s. But with this roll-out of the D Rose 11, it seems like Adidas has finally recognized their star’s return to prominence.

Rose’s newest pair gives top-of-the-class cushion and support, along with one of the best tractions from the 7s. It will likely go down as one of the best basketball pairs this year.

The Adidas D Rose 11 nets an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5. This is due to the wide base that might not be friendly for some. Even though there are the topmost eyelets and top lace loops, it might still be a bit wide and loose for some Adidas users.
